Garmin Connect works with your device to create a daily step goal that’s perfectly customized to you. The goal adjusts up or down depending on your previous step totals, always keeping you challenged and encouraging you to be a bit more active than the day before. Or, if you prefer, you can set your own daily goal.

Use the power of fun to get fit! Join a friendly competition with people who are stepping the same amount as you. If you have the most steps in a week, you win. As you improve week-to-week, you will advance to groups with higher step goals to keep you motivated and competitive.

The Power of Rest

While you are sleeping, your compatible device monitors your movement and heart rate. Sleep statistics include total hours of sleep, sleep levels, and sleep movement. Tracking and finding patterns in your sleep habits can help you understand how sleep affects your mood, activity level and more. You can set your normal sleep hours in the user settings on your Garmin Connect™ account. You can view your sleep statistics on your Garmin Connect account.

Food and Fitness

Track your food with the MyFitnessPal website or app, then see how it compares to the calories you burn during your Garmin Connect activities. MyFitnessPal has an extensive, user-maintained database of foods, so it’s easy to keep a precise eating log that syncs with your Garmin Connect account. As you update during the day, you can see how well you’re sticking to your plan.

Make a Connection

Whether you are competitive or just curious, connect to your friends, family or coworkers to see how they stay active. Give a pal props for surpassing her goal or encourage her on tough days. It’s easy to share your activities and notes on Facebook, Twitter and other social sites, too. Or, turn on the privacy lock and never worry about anyone seeing your data.
